2014 TRI-COUNTY SCHEDULE

Final Doubles Match

The final match of the doubles league was shot at Tyrone, Team three won the match led by Gene Patrick with a 42, Chris Spanik 35 and Andrew Tyler with a 32, The Gold team took second after a tie breaker using 4 scores to best team two, Gold team, Dick Golden 37, Bill Stever 33, Judith Zapsky 32, and John Mcmahon 30. Team two was led by Max Morbeto 37, Rich Zapsky 34, Jeff Cambridge 31 and Larry Burke 27.

The team standings ended with a tie for 1st place with team two and the Gold team ending up with 16 points and team three finished with 10 points.

The League Banquet will be held on Sunday December 15th at Uries Rib Shack in downtown Tyrone, Everyone who gave me your meal choice along with your spouse is ordered, Most of the Meals for the shooters eligible have been paid, you will get a meal ticket from me when you arrive, the few i didn't pay for (wanted a little wriggle room for no shows,) i will give you the money for the cost of your meal. Hope to see everyone there.

The Doubles league was well recieved and everyone had a good time, shooting it so late in the year with cold weather,snow etc took a bit of a toll on some shooters and we will have discussions in the spring about the league for next year.

I would like to thank all the clubs involved for the great job they did hosting the shoots this year, Once again thanks everyone and wishing you all the happiest of Hollidays. Dick.

Doubles at Sandy Ridge

The doubles league match was held at the Sandy Ridge Sportsman club. 

Team two braved the cold and snow with very gusty winds to win the team match with Max Morbeto 39, Jeff Cambridge 35, and Jeff Lozinski 33, topping the gold team with Dick Golden 40, John Mcmahon 31, and Judith Zapsky 20. Team three finished 3rd with Gene Patrick 38, Chris Spanik 26, and Andrew Tyler 21.

Next week is the final match to be held at Tyrone, hope to see you all there.

NOTE Will be finalizing the reservations for the Banquet to be held at Uries Rib Shack this week, Banquet is going to be held on Sunday Dec 15th at 1 o'clock, any questions or concerns please contact me, thanks.

Doubles at Blair Game

The doubles league match was held at Blair Game, the Gold team led by John Mcmahon 46, Dick Golden 38, and Bill Stever 36 bested team two with Max Morbeto 46, Larry Burk 37, and Jason Miles 33, Team 3 finished third with Gene Patrick 41, Mark Luke 37, and Vern Diggins with a 37.

The Gold team and Team two are tied for 1st place with 12 points each after the first 5 matches.

Doubles at Bald Eagle

Todays doubles league shoot was held at Bald Eagle with the high winds taking it toll on total number of shooters as 14 shooters shot in the very windy conditions.

The gold team won todays match with dick golden, 45, bill stever, 37, and john mcmahon 33 to best team two by one bird, led by Jeff cambridge, 42, rich zapsky, 36 and Larry burke 36, team three finished 3rd led by gene patrick 42, vern diggins, 32 and andrew tyler 32.

Doubles results 11-3-2013

The third team shoot(4th overall) was held at the Tyrone Sportsman with 19 shooters competing. 

Team two with J Lozinsky 39, M. Morbeto 38 and Rich Zapsky 39 topped the gold team of D. Golden 41, B. Stever 36 and J. Mcmahon 36, while team three placed 3rd with G. Patrick 44, (Hi gun) M. Luke 35, and A. tyler 30.

Standings after week 3 are as follows, team two is in first place with 8 points, gold team second with 6 points and team three is third with 4 points.  

1st place =3 pts 2nd place =2 pts third place = 1 pt.
